Outdoor Spaces

Lanai: a veranda or roofed patio often furnished and used as a living room

Patio : An outdoor space for dining and recreation that adjoins a building and is often paved; a roofless inner courtyard typically found in Spanish or Spanish-style dwellings.

Veranda : A porch or balcony, usually roofed and often partly enclosed, extending along the outside of a building. Also called gallery.

Deck : A roofless, floored structure, typically with a railing, that adjoins a house.

Balcony : A platform that projects from the wall of a building and is surrounded by a railing, balustrade, or parapet.

Pavilion : Pavilion may refer to a free-standing structure sited at a little distance from a main residence
